SCANNING FROM A COMPUTER RUNNING WINDOWS 98, ME, OR 2000

The instructions in this section are for computers running Windows 98,

Me, or 2000. If your computer is running Windows XP, see “Scanning

from a Computer Running Windows XP” on page 33.

To scan an item from PaperPort:

1. If the PaperPort software isn’t currently running, click the Windows

Start button and from the Programs menu, choose ScanSoft

PaperPort 8.0 and then choose the PaperPort program.

The PaperPort desktop appears.

2. Click the Scan icon on the PaperPort command bar.
