CONFIGURING THE SCANNER BUTTON

When you first connect your scanner to a computer, the scanner’s

software configures the scanner button to scan in black and white for a

magazine article and send the scanned image to the PaperPort desktop.

But, you can change the button’s settings by selecting new options from

the button’s Configuration dialog box.

You display the Configuration dialog box from either the shortcut menu

or the Windows Start menu.

To display the Configuration dialog box:

1. Choose Programs from the Windows Start menu and then

ScanSoft PaperPort 8.0 and OneTouch Configure.

You can also just right-click the scanner icon at the bottom right

corner of the Windows desktop and then choose Configure from

the shortcut menu that appears.

The Configuration dialog box appears.

2. Click the Scan tab on the Configuration dialog box if it is not

already selected.
