5. Click Scan when you are satisﬁed with the image.

6. When ﬁnished, remove the mask from the scanner.

7. If you adjusted the resolution and other settings for scanning slides

or negatives, reset those settings for scanning paper items.

Tip: For 35mm slides or negatives, set the resolution to 1200 dpi or

better. Visioneer recommends using a resolution of 2700 dpi. Refer

to, “Adjusting the Resolution and Sharpness” on page 43 for steps to

set the resolution.
